Katherine Mallen Kupferer and Chloe Coleman star in Mouse, the new coming-of-age drama from filmmaking duo Alex Thompson and Kelly O’Sullivan (Ghostlight, Saint Frances), as best friends whose relationship is upended on the eve of their senior year.
Also featuring Sophie Okonedo and David Hyde Pierce, the film explores the complicated relationships that shape us as we grow up.
Mouse made its world premiere in the Panorama section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, followed by screenings at the Chicago International Film Festival, AFI FEST, the Virginia Film Festival, Frameline, and the New Hampshire Film Festival, among others. It is slated to open in U.S. theaters on November 6, 2026.

Set in 2002, best friends Minnie (Katherine Mallen Kupferer) and Callie (Chloe Coleman) are heading into their senior year of high school, with Minnie long living in the protective shadow of the charismatic and admired Callie. When their friendship is suddenly upended at the start of the summer, Minnie struggles to define her own identity and forms a complicated relationship with Callie’s poised, attentive mother (Sophie Okonedo), pulling her further from her own chaotic home.
