Ice Merchant is described as a powerful film about family connection, a father and his young son living on the edge in the aftermath of loss, loneliness and solitude, and the daily rituals and routines that form a foundation of human relationships.

Every day, a father and his son jump with a parachute from their vertiginous cold house, attached to a cliff, to go to the village on the ground, far away where they sell the ice they produce daily.
