Six-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams stars in Nightbitch, a surreal comedy horror movie from director Marielle Heller (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Can You Ever Forgive Me?). ‘Nightbitch’ tells a wacky story of a mother manifesting her maternal instinct by transforming into a dog. The film is based on the 2021 Rachel Yoder’s novel of the same title.

‘Nightbitch’ will world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2024; and is scheduled to close the 32nd Hamptons Film Festival this October.

Synopsis

An artist who pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mum seeks a new chapter in her life and encounters just that, when her nightly routine takes a surreal turn and her maternal instincts begin to manifest in canine form.
