The Substance leads the films winning top honors at the 23rd Annual Columbus Film Critics Association Awards, taking the top spot on the Best Film list, plus Best Director along with Best Original Screenplay for Coralie Fargeat, and Best Lead Performance for Demi Moore.
Other acting honors went to Kieran Culkin winning Best Supporting Performance for A Real Pain, Mikey Madison won Breakthrough Film Artist for acting in Anora, Conclave won Best Ensemble; and Sebastian Stan won Actor of the Year for The Apprentice and A Different Man.
No Other Land won the Best Documentary Award, Evil Does Not Exist (Aku wa sonzai shinai) won Best Foreign Language Film and Snack Shack won Best Overlooked Film.
