The 19th New York Asian Film Festival will be a special virtual edition from August 28 to September 12, 2020. Magnolia Pictures released the official trailer for the thriller Alone, the English-language remake by director John Hyams (One Dog Day, Universal Soldier: Regeneration, Dragon Eyes, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning) of Mattias Olsson’s 2011 Swedish film Gone. In the film, a recently widowed traveler is kidnapped by a cold-blooded killer, only to escape into the wilderness where she is forced to battle against the elements as her pursuer closes in on her.
