Runt, the Australian family film by John Sheedy, following ten-year-old Annie and Runt, her stray dog, as they attempt to win the Dog Show so they can save the family farm, dominated Western Australian WA Screen Culture Awards (WASCA) taking home all four of its nominations. The film won Innovation in Narrative Feature Film with a budget over $1m and Outstanding Achievement in Writing, Production Design and Original Music.

Cinematographer Lol Crawley, most recently known for Brady Corbet’s epic post-war drama The Brutalist has been named the recipient of the sixth annual Roby Müller Award at International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).
