Opening night film Ezra directed by Tony Goldwyn won the Audience Award for best feature film at the 13th Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF) which took place from February 28 – March 3, 2024, screening 20 narrative and documentary features, 37 shorts, and three episodics. Bobby Cannavale won the inaugural Best Performance in a Film Award for his role in the film.

The festival will kick off with opening night film Ezra directed by Tony Goldwyn and starring Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne and Robert DeNiro; and closing night film is the documentary Sugarcane directed by Julian Brave NoiseCat and Emily Kassie.

Actress Annette Bening and filmmaker David O. Russell will be honored with Vision Award at the 13th annual Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF) taking places February 28 – March 3, 2024.

The 2022 Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF), announced this year’s award winners with We Feed People, directed by Ron Howard winning the Audience Award; and top juried prizes going to Linoleum, directed by Colin West for Best Narrative Feature Film and Mama Bears, directed by Daresha Kyi for Best Documentary Feature Film.

2022 Sun Valley Film Festival will open with the National Geographic Documentary Films’ Fire of Love, directed by Sara Dosa and close with the CNN documentary Navalny, directed by Daniel Roher, who is expected to attend with the film.

Sun Valley Film Festival, returning as an in-person event from March 30-April 3, 2022, announced this year’s award honors and initial film lineup for the 11th annual event. This year’s award honorees include Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler, who will receive Vision Awards, and Dr. Nathalie Dougé, who is the recipient of National Geographic’s Further Award. The festival will screen more than 25 narrative and documentary features.

Producer Jessica Sanders is the winner of the Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF) $25,000 Ford Producers Grant prize for her project titled Picking Cotton, based off the New York Times bestseller, and will now have the opportunity to take her in-development film one big step closer to reality.
