The Brutalist leads the Hawaii Film Critics Society Best Of List for 2024 winners with four awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Adrien Brody

The Brutalist led the 2024 Minnesota Film Critics Association awards with 5 wins out of 10 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Actor for Adrien Brody and Best Supporting Actor for Guy Pearce.

The documentary No Other Land made by a collective of Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers won three awards, including the top prize for Outstanding Nonfiction Filmmaking at Cinema Eye Honors 2025 Awards.

The South Korean horror film Exhuma leads the nominations for the 18th Asian Film Awards in 11 categories including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Newcomer, Best Screenplay, Best Original Music, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound.

Created by and starring former British Royal Marines Commandos, Sunray: Fallen Soldier is an action drama film co-written and co-directed by James Clarke and Daniel Shepherd. The film follows the revenge story of an armed forces veteran trying to find the people responsible for his daughter’s death.

Helmed by director Noah Pritzker, marking his return to feature film directing after 2015’s Quitters, Ex-Husbands is a family drama film following the story of an aging man processing his divorce after a 35-year marriage. Ex-Husbands had its world premiere back in 2023 at the 71st San Sebastian Film Festival. The film was also screened at the 2023 Hamptons International Film Festival.
