Magnolia Pictures shared the official trailer for Dance First, Academy Award winning director James Marsh’s (The Theory of Everything, Man on Wire) biographical film on Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. The film is written by Neil Forsyth and stars Gabriel Byrne as Samuel Beckett.

A&E revealed the teaser trailer for ‘Ol’ Dirty Bastard: A Tale of Two Dirtys’, the documentary following the life of Grammy nominated musician and legendary founding member of iconic hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The documentary is directed by Emmy and Peabody Award winning director Sam Pollard (MLK/FBI, Black Art: In The Absence of Light) and his son Jason Pollard (Get Me Roger Stone, Bitchin’ The Sound and Fury of Rick James).

HBO revealed the teaser trailer for Chimp Crazy, a four-part documentary series from the director of ‘Tiger King’. Director Eric Goode returns to explore the crazy world of exotic animal lovers, this time with a subject of ‘chimp moms’.
After premiering at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the drama film by German director Nora Fingscheidt (The Unforgiveable, System Crasher) got a US theatrical release date with Sony Pictures Classics distributing the film. ‘The Outrun’ stars four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Stephen Dillane (Game Of Thrones), and Saskia Reeves (Slow Horses).

Cranked Up Films revealed the trailer for ‘The Exorcism of Saint Patrick’, the first film that will kick off director Quinn Armstrong’s ‘Fresh Hell’ trilogy. With the trilogy, Armstrong harkens back to the Hammer Horror or Roger Corman model of shooting films on a small budget back-to-back, each film with its own unique aesthetic and cleverly interconnected elements between them.
Lionsgate revealed the trailer for ‘Crescent City’, a crime thriller film from director RJ Collins and writer Rich Ronat. The film tells the story of the search for a serial killer in a small southern American town.
Neon revealed the trailer for ‘Anora’, the new film by critically acclaimed director Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Red Rocket). The film had its premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and won the festival’s most prestigious award, the Palme d’Or, becoming the first American film to win the award since 2011’s The Tree of Life.
Roadside Attractions released the trailer (teaser) for the biographical drama film ‘Lee’. The film stars Kate Winslet as Lee Miller, a renowned American photographer/photojournalist who was a war correspondent for Vogue during World War II.
Marco Ricci’s Lucha: A Wrestling Tale kicks off the film lineup for the 13th edition of Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Film Festival taking place August 7-11. GFF will showcase a two-film retrospective of New York City-based Spanish filmmaker Alex Lora’s The Masterpiece and Unicorns as its Centerpiece presentation, and a documentary double feature including the US Premiere of Kelly Moneymaker’s Drum Song: The Rhythm of Life and festival favorite Miwene, directed by Keith Heyward, Jennifer Berglund, Gange Anita Yeti Enomenga, and Obe Beatriz Nenquimo Nihua for Closing Night.
