The California Film Institute announced the 2023 Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF) will take place Thursday, October 5 – Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Give Me An A, is an anthology – film reacting to the overturning of Roe v. Wade through horror, sci-fi, and dark comedy created by 17 female filmmakers.

20,000 Species of Bees directed by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren won the Outstanding First Feature award at the 47th Frameline, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival. The Festival will close with the UK premiere of Fremont, directed by BAFTA-nominated director Babak Jalali (whose debut Frontier Blues played EIFF in 2010).
