International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) revealed the 14 films selected for the festival’s Tiger Competition, as well as the Big Screen Competition and Ammodo Tiger Short Competition selections. The festival also announced the IFFR 2022 Selection available to audiences in the Netherlands on IFFR.com from January 26 to February 6, 2022. The program includes titles in Harbour, Limelight, Bright Future and Cinema Regained.
IFC Midnight debuted the official trailer for A Banquet, a British horror film starring Sienna Guillory, Jessica Alexander, and Ruby Stokes. Directed by Ruth Paxton, the film premiered at the 2021 Toronto Film Festival and opens in theaters and VOD on February 18, 2022.

Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired the Bhutanese film Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom, which is shortlisted for Best International Film at the 2022 Academy Awards. Written and directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji, the film tells the story of a young teacher sent to teach at the most remote mountain school in the world. Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2019 and won the Audience Award at last year’s Palm Springs Film Festival. Samuel Goldwyn Films will announce release information at a later date.
