MUBI will release Azor, a slow-burn political thriller from Andreas Fontana, which had its World Premiere at the 2021 Berlin Film Festival and US Premiere at New Directors/New Films. The film will open in New York at IFC Center on September 10th, with a nationwide theatrical rollout to follow.

The prosecution insisted that this other Carlos was a “phantom’ and didn’t exist. The documentary which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival opened in theaters on Friday, June 2, 2021.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis will receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 78th Venice International Film Festival taking place September 1–11, 2021. The ceremony will take place before the out-of-competition screening of Halloween Kills, directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Halloween Kills arrives in theaters on October 15.
