
It’s a wrap. The Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) celebrated a successful return to fully in-person programs at CAAMFest 2023, with more than 11,000 people in attendance.

The 25th Anniversary edition of Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF), taking place June 7-11, opens with Eva Longoria’s Flamin’ Hot, and will close with Claudia Sainte-Luce comedy Amor y matemáticas (Love and Mathematics).

Ellie Foumbi’s Our Father, the Devil won the jury award for Best Narrative Feature and Bradford Thomason and Brett Whitcomb’s Butterfly in the Sky won the jury award for Best Documentary Feature at the 2023 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.

The Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) announced the fully in-person program lineup for CAAMFest 2023, taking place May 11-21, 2023 in San Francisco. Opening Night of this year’s festival is headlined by the film Joy Ride directed by Adele Lim at the Castro Theatre.

The 2023 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival announces the film lineup for 29th edition running April 25 to May 7. The 29th edition of the festival opens with Matt Johnson’s BlackBerry and will close with Marvin Samel’s IMordecai.

The 65th annual San Francisco International Film Festival will make its return to theaters in person, featuring more than 130 films from 56 countries, including 16 World and 10 North American premieres. The Festival will also celebrate cinematic icon Michelle Yeoh with a special tribute to be presented by critically acclaimed actor Sandra Oh. The 2022 Festival will run April 21–May 1.
