Keke Palmer and Common star in the dramatic thriller Alice, world premiering at 2022 Sundance Film Festival. The film marks the feature debut of Krystin Ver Linden (American Roulette) who was recently named one of Variety’s “10 Directors to Watch” for 2022. Vertical Entertainment and Roadside Attractions acquired the film, and set a theatrical release date of March 18, 2022.

The Homage section of the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival will be dedicated to French film and stage actor Isabelle Huppert, who will be awarded an Honorary Golden Bear for lifetime achievement. Kino Lorber released the official trailer for Brighton 4, Georgia’s Official Submission to the 94th Academy Awards; and winner of Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor at 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. Directed by Levan Koguashvil, the film tells the story of Kakhi, a Georgian ex-wrestler who travels from Tbilisi to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, to help his son Soso find a way out of a gambling debt.
