Apple dropped the trailer for the documentary Beastie Boys Story, described as a live documentary feature film about the classic band. The documentary is a live extension of 2018’s Beastie Boys Book, a memoir that paid tribute to Yauch, who died of cancer in 2012.

The film was set to make its world premiere at SXSW before the festival was canceled. The film was also set for IMAX theatrical release on April 3 which was also canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. You can still catch the documentary when it streams on Apple TV+ starting April 24.

Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz tell you an intimate, personal story of their band and 40 years of friendship in this live documentary experience directed by their longtime friend and collaborator and former hall monitor, Spike Jonze.
