The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol

The 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, scheduled for June 8–14 in Annecy, France, revealed the 21 feature films in the Official Selection. This year’s edition pays tribute to Hungarian animation, spotlighting both classic and contemporary works.

The festival will honor visionary artist Michel Gondry, renowned for his innovative animation work in music videos, with an Honorary Cristal award. In addition to Michel Gondry, who will also be giving a Masterclass, Joanna Quinn will be honored at the Opening Ceremony for her body of work, along with Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons.
