
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another took the top honors at the Florida Film Critics Circle’s 2025 awards winning six awards, including Best Picture along with supporting actor awards for Sean Penn and Teyana Taylor.
Park Chan-wook’s No Other Choice won Best Director and tied with Grand Tour for Best International Film.
Other performance honors went to Josh O’Connor, awarding him Best Actor for Kelly Reichardt’s The Mastermind; and Rose Byrne received Best Actress for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
Other film awards went to Sabbath Queen for Best Documentary, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain won Best Animated Film; and Best First Feature went to Eva Victor’s Sorry, Baby.
The Golden Orange, awarded to outstanding contributions to film by a Floridian, went to River of Grass, Sasha Wortzel’s poetic documentary about the Everglades.
