Kahyun Kim (St. Denis Medical) and Nick Ballard (Rosario) are starring in the new psychological sci-fi thriller Eternal Properties, with Betsy Hume (Sinister Secret Ingredient), Nils Stewart (Good Trouble), Travis Lincoln Cox (Blood Star), and Michael Guarasci rounding out the cast.
Currently shooting in Carmel, the film follows Sabrina Lee (Kim), a private nurse to the rich and powerful, who is dreading her upcoming birthday. She is about to turn thirty-four, the same age her mother was when she died of ovarian cancer. Carrying the BRCA-1 gene herself, Sabrina lives with the growing fear that her own time may be running out.
Her newest patient, Julian Milton (Ballard), is an eccentric tech entrepreneur conducting a longevity experiment known as Project Paradigm from his secluded coastal compound. When he offers the chance for Sabrina to join the trial as its first female participant, she can’t resist. But Sabrina soon learns that cheating death comes at a dangerous cost. The film puts a modern technological spin on eternal themes of mortality and loneliness.
