Neon debuted the official teaser trailer for Robot Dreams, the animated film by Pablo Berger about a friendship between a dog and a robot in Manhattan, New York in the 1980s.
The film does not contain any verbal dialogue.
It is based on the comic of the same name by Sara Varon and premiered at Cannes Film Festival followed by Annecy International Animation Film Festival where it received the award for Best Film in the Contrechamp section.
Synopsis
Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, DOG, with great sadness, is forced to abandon ROBOT at the beach.
