The Substance, Sing Sing, September 5 and The Wild Robot, all won two awards each at the Utah Film Critics Association awards for the best in filmmaking for 2024.
The Wild Robot took home the big win with Best Picture as well as Best Animated Feature. The Substance won Best Lead Performance, Female for Demi Moore along with Best Visual Effects. Sing Sing was recognized for outstanding performances winning Best Lead Performance, Male for Colman Domingo and Best Supporting Performance, Male for Clarence Maclin. September 5 also grabbed an acting win with Best Ensemble Cast as well as Best Film Editing.
Other awards went to The Remarkable Life of Ibelin and Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, tied for Best Documentary Feature; and Red Rooms won Best Non-English Language Feature.
