Crime Drama ‘Silent Partners’ to World Premiere at Miami Film Festival
Inspired by the true events of the 1980s drug wars, the crime drama Silent Partners makes its world premiere at the 42nd Annual Miami Film Festival on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Starring in the movie are Ciro Dapagio, James Russo, Antoni Corone, Garry Pastore, Nick Vallelonga, Saul Stein, Rafael Castillo, Karmela Bortoleti, Mike Marino, Lou Silver, Lola Dapagio, Barry Jay Minoff, James Bishop, and Lika Osipova.
Directed by Jokes Yanes, the film will be released worldwide on all major streaming platforms on May 13, 2025, via Breaking Glass Pictures.

Mikey Madison’s First Film ‘Liza, Liza Skies Are Grey’ Gets Re-Released Post Oscar Win
A few years ago (2015) at the age of only 15, Mikey Madison was cast by two-time Oscar® winning filmmaker Terry Sanders in her very first film, his coming of age story Liza, Liza Skies Are Grey. On the heels of her recent success and Oscar win for her performance in Anora, Vision Films is now releasing Terry’s “Director’s Cut” of the movie.
The synopsis reads, “A meditation on first love and first sex in the ’60s, Liza, Liza, Skies Are Grey introduced two remarkable new young actors, Mikey Madison and Sean H. Scully. In the turbulent summer of 1966, a year of the draft and the war in Vietnam, civil rights confrontations, the beginnings of the Sexual Revolution, and living in the shadow of the atomic bomb, 15-year-old Liza and her 16-year-old boyfriend Brett set off on an eventful four-day motorcycle trip up the California coast.
