    Members of the National Socialist Movement march down the streets of Columbia, South Carolina to the steps of the State Capital building. April 21, 2007., Columbia, S.C. They rally to protest the "3rd world invasion" of illegal immigrants and the thousands of Mexicans shutting down major cities demonstrating against border reform and their refusal to assimilate into American culture. During the rally, the NSM announced their third party candidate for the upcoming US Presidential election John Taylor Bowles. Bowles is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has been in the NSM for over 30 years. The National Socialist Movement had upwards of 100 supporting members and were met by a vocal crowd of counter protesters. A large police and federal presence kept the event free from incident.
