The Irishman The National Board of Review announced their 2019 honorees, naming The Irishman the Best Film of 2019, and honored Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, along with Al Pacino with the NBR Icon Award. Quentin Tarantino was named Best Director for Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, Renée Zellweger for Best Actress for Judy, and Adam Sandler for Best Actor for Uncut Gems.
