Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre is the oldest fantastic film festival in Latin America. Spanning two decades, the BARS is a meeting and exhibition space for fantastic films from around the world and a point of resistance for Argentine genre filmmakers. Born in 2000 as a sample of independent cinema and, since 2004, with the format of a competitive festival, the BARS is an essential appointment for lovers of the genre and for the public that wants to get in touch with a cinema that is not seen at other festivals.
