The 2nd Lake Travis Film Festival announced its filmmaker awards with Sevgi Hirschäuser’s Toprak taking the jury prize for Best Narrative Feature Film and the directing trio of Nico Perrino, Aaron Reese, and Chris Maltby won the Best Documentary Feature Film award for Mighty Ira.
The Lake Travis Film Festival’s 2nd edition will run (June 10-13) in beautiful Hill Country, just west of Austin, TX. The festival will kick off with an ambitious “Space Out” Opening Night Showcase with Sevgi Hirschhäuser’s Toprak and Matt Richmond’s Brauhaus: A German-American Fairytale.
