The Okinawa International Movie Festival, which started in 2009, was renamed the “Shima Zenbu de O-kina Matsuri” (Big festival for all the Okinawan islands).

This is one of Okinawa’s most popular spring events and one of the goals of this festival is to promote the appeal of Okinawa.
