Tribeca Fall Preview, a season-long series featuring film premieres, musical performances, and more, from Tribeca Enterprises, the organization behind the Tribeca Festival, will kick-off on September 22 with the premiere of the The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark at the Beacon Theatre.

Cinematographer Ari Wegner will be honored with the TIFF Variety Artisan Award at this year’s 2021 TIFF Tribute Awards at the 46th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival. “Julia” the new documentary on celebrity chef Julia Child will open the 30th anniversary edition of the Heartland International Film Festival (HIFF), taking place October 7-17, across Indianapolis. The festival revealed the first slate of special event titles including closing night film “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain” on English artist Louis Wain, who rose to prominence at the end of the 19th century for his surreal cat paintings.

Telluride Film Festival will screen more than 80 feature films, short films and revival programs representing 29 countries at the 48th edition of Festival taking place Thursday, September 2 – Monday, September 6, 2021. The Oscar® Qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival will host its 17th edition as a hybrid event from September 23-October 1, 2021 showcasing over 300 short films from over 40 countries. The hybrid event will be both in-person, with screenings at the historic TCL Chinese 6 Theatres and panels at the innovative Japan House in Hollywood, CA, and virtual via the official festival streaming platform Bitpix.
