Teona Strugar Mitevska’s The Happiest Man in the World captured the BHFF 2023 Jury Award for Best Feature Film at the 19th annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF) in New York City Golden Apple Awards ceremony. Jelena Kordić Kuret was awarded the Jury Award for Best Acting Performance for her role as Asja in the film.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the feature films eligible for consideration in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film and International Feature Film categories for the 95th Academy Awards.
51 films will compete for the Heart of Sarajevo awards at the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival taking place from August 12th to 19th, 2022. The Festival’s four competition sections – for feature, documentary, short and student film – will feature 21 world, 7 international, 1 European, 21 regional and 1 B&H premiere.
