Wang Lina’s A First Farewell and Ivan Salatić’s You Have the Night are the big winners at the Firebird Awards of the 43rd Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF43). A First Farewell won the first-ever Young Cinema Competition (Chinese Language) Firebird Award, and You Have the Night took home the prestigious award in the Young Cinema Competition (World).
The Panorama program lineup of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival is complete, and will feature a total of 45 controversial, political and challenging films from 38 countries. 34 films celebrate their world premiere and 19 of the films are debut works. Among the 45 films are 29 feature films and 16 documentary films.
Berlin Film Festival today revealed the first 22 films in the 2019 Panorama program, including directorial debuts from actors Jonah Hill and Alexander Gorchilin.
