ROCKS directed by Sarah Gavron The coming-of-age drama Rocks took the Best British Independent Film prize at the online 2020 British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) hosted by Tom Felton. The film won a total of four awards including actress Kosar Ali taking home the awards for both Best Supporting Actress and Most Promising Newcomer with her young co-star D’Angelou Osei Kissiedu winning Best Supporting Actor.

NOMADLAND, SAINT MAUD win 41st London Critics’ Film Awards Nomadland won three top honors including Film of the Year, at the 41st London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, which were held in a virtual ceremony on Sunday night. The film’s lead Frances McDormand was named Actress of the Year, while writer-director Chloé Zhao won Screenwriter of the Year.
