GREEN BOOK, ROMA Among Winners at 76th Golden Globe Awards
L to R: Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali in GREEN BOOK “Green Book,” pulled one of many surprises at the 76th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, winning three awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for Mahershala Ali. In probably the biggest upset of the night, “Bohemian Rhapsody” was named Best Motion Picture – Drama, along with Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for Rami Malek.

Roma Alfonso Cuarón’s ROMA added another two Awards to its growing list of accolades, winning the top prizes for Best Film and Best Direction at the 8th AACTA International Awards. Cuarón, who won the same two awards in 2014 for GRAVITY, now holds the record for the most AACTA International Award wins by an individual (a record previously held by Alejandro G. Iñárritu with three).
