15 Down, an award-winning short film, directed by Mike Hayhurst and written/produced by Allison Moy Hayhurst, will have its Oklahoma Premiere at Twister Alley International Film Festival on Saturday, May 4th. 15 Down is nominated in two categories, Best Drama Short and Best Drama Ensemble.

The European Premiere of the riotous social satire Boyz in the Wood will open the 73rd edition of Edinburgh International Film Festival on Wednesday June 19th at Festival Theatre.

The Seattle International Film Festival announced today the complete lineup and as part of this year’s celebration of women in comedy, the Festival will celebrate the work of Regina Hall by presenting her with the Seattle International Film Festival Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinema. Hola Mexico Film Festival will close with 11th edition on June 8th with the Los Angeles premiere of MIRREYES VS GODINEZ (MIRREYES CONTRA GODINEZ), a comedic social critique on Mexico’s polarized society, directed by Chava Cartas. The film stars Regina Blandón and Daniel Tovar and is produced by Francisco González Compeán and written by María Hinojos.

Actress Cannes Elle Fanning along with directors Yorgos Lanthimos and Paweł Pawlikowski are among the eight distinguished film professionals selected for 2019 Cannes Film Festival Jury presided over by director Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu. The jury of four women and four men, from four continents and from seven different nationalities will reveal the winners on Saturday, May 25 during the Closing Ceremony.
